Peter Buecker, MD

Saturday, March 12,

9:00am – 1:00pm

The benefits of meditation for supporting one’s health and well-being are clear.  But, the practice can go much deeper.  For many, meditation practice opens the door to heightened levels of personal awareness, insight, and spiritual awakening.  In this 4-hour workshop, we will explore practices and concepts that will help you open to the deeper possibilities available to you in each and every moment just below the “clutter” of everyday life.  Learn how mindfulness practice can help you transcend your daily stresses and realize a life of personal fulfillment, wisdom, compassion, and spiritual connection.

This class is designed for the current meditation practitioner but beginners are welcome.

$89; Early Bird $75 by March 1

Payment holds your seat in the class. Some partial scholarships are available – please email DrepungGomangCompassion@gmail.com.

Peter Buecker, MD is a native of Louisville where he has been in medical practice since 2005. For two years he owned and operated Wellness 360, a center dedicated to cultivating wellness of body, mind, and spirit using holistic health practices such as yoga, massage, meditation and health coaching.  Currently, he teaches mindfulness, meditation, and stress relief in the Louisville community as a path to health, well-being, inner peace, and authentic happiness.  Dr. Pete is completing a PhD in Mind-Body Medicine at Saybrook University, and hopes to help transform the conventional health system to one that embraces humanism and compassion in combination with modern knowledge and technology as the model of true whole-person healing.  He is the author of No Magic Pill:  Be Happier and Healthier Now, Just As You Are.  Visit his website, meditationMD.com or email questions to DrPete@MeditationMD.com.

From Dr. Pete:  “This workshop is highly experiential, as it is my belief that experience is by far the best teacher.  It will include some foundational didactic teaching followed by a meditation practice that allows the student to experience the concept(s) being taught.  Discussion about the practice follows so that appropriate integration of the material in the students’ lives can occur.  Thus, learning occurs on many levels and the student can expect to bolster personal practice by the conclusion of the workshop.”
