In a time of economic and environmental uncertainty, unceasing negativity and fear mongering in the news, scandals, gossiping and image bashing, the only way to respond responsibly is from a foundation of inner peace. It is our duty to ourselves and those around us, to create a tranquility within even as in the eye of the storm. Let us come together in solidarity by making a commitment to peace building through kindness and wisdom. Visit contemplativecircle.com.

You are invited to take part in this Building Peace 24-Hour Contemplative Circle, inspired by the practice of self-awareness and human collaboration. Through the practice of mindful contemplation, we purify our mind and heart, and come back to social engagement in a more wholesome state of being. We then set the stage by creating an environment of supporting conditions for others to practice also. In order to build momentum, we set a determination that the Contemplative Circle will be continuous for 24 hours.

All are invited to come sit to help Build Peace – for any length of time you are able to attend.

WHY DO WE GATHER IN THIS CONTEMPLATIVE PRACTICE TO BUILD PEACE?

Universal questions such as these captivate people of all ages:  What Is the Meaning of Life?  Who Am I? Where Am I Coming from?  Where Am I Going? What Is a Good Life Worthy of Living?  What Can I Do to Build a Peaceful World?  The Contemplative Circle is a community the function of which is to support each other’s contemplation.  By taking a part in practice, we give value to contemplation because we believe that it's where all useful action starts and we give each other the opportunity to partake in this practice.
