with Harry Pickens

Thursday, May 186:30 – 8:30pm

Why is it that so many of us who so easily express compassion for others have such a difficult time treating ourselves with the same kindness and caring? Why do we tend to believe that self-compassion equals weakness, or narcissism, or that putting ourselves last is somehow the virtuous and spiritual choice? Tonight, Harry will share key lessons he learned along his own journey from over-giving and self-neglect to finally finding a healthy balance between self-care and caring for others. You will learn practical tools for beginning to be a better, kinder, more compassionate friend to yourself and discover how self-compassion can be the missing link to a life of thriving well-being, contribution, fulfillment, and joy. You’ll also learn about Harry’s upcoming Self-Compassion Adventure, a 6-week group mentoring program that will guide you step-by-step into a greater experience of self-compassion, self-care, and self-love.

Fee: $25

Some partial scholarships are available by emailing your request to DrepungGomangCompassion@gmail.com.
