How can we communicate from the heart, from a place of empathy for ourselves and others? Nonviolent Communication draws from the wisdom of many traditions:
“NVC is founded on language and communication skills that strengthen our ability to remain human, even under trying conditions... The intent is to remind us about what we already know – about how we humans were meant to relate to one another – and to assist us in living in a way that concretely manifests this knowledge…Through its emphasis on deep listening – to ourselves as well as others – NVC fosters respect, attentiveness, and empathy and engenders a mutual desire to give from the heart.” - Marshall Rosenberg, developer of NVC
Learn the foundations of NVC and get a taste of these practices that foster empathy for self and others at one of these FREE Introduction to Nonviolent Communication sessions!
Though free, we ask that you register here, at the center, or by calling 502-614-5616. Registration Deadline: January 15.
