Friday, March 23, Dinner, 5:30pm, Free Movie: “A Sacrifice” at 6:00pm, followed by a presentation by Anne Walter about meeting His Holiness on February 21 in Dharamsala, India

FEATURED DOCUMENTARY: “A Sacrifice”

Lhamo Kyab, a Tibetan nomad, escapes into exile in India, only to return secretly to Tibet on a symbolic journey to highlight his peoples’ suffering. Meanwhile, 100 Tibetans set themselves on fire inside Tibet. “A Sacrifice” considers the implications of the sacrifices being committed by Tibetans in the name of freedom.

Lhamo Kyab is Geshe Rapgyal’s nephew.
