Maggie Jezreel, Assistant Director of DGCEC, is a longtime student of nonviolence and its practical application in everyday life. Her hands-on experiences include living in the Colorado Springs Catholic Worker, participating in actions that included nonviolent civil disobedience, facilitating nonviolence-focused educational processes, and making lifestyle choices to reduce negative impact on the earth. Maggie recently completed a six-month Nonviolent Communication Intensive through the New York Center for Nonviolent Communication. She is compelled by her deep dive into the impact of nonviolent communication and is excited to share this language of love and compassion with others.
