Beliefs are a way to make sense of the world.  We adopt them to serve us, to support us.  But what happens when these ideas no longer serve us, and keep us from fully living into who we want to be, how we want to show up?  Join us in exploring beliefs and using compassionate communication to transform those deeply held beliefs that limit our capacity to fully engage life.

Our facilitator, Maggie Jezreel, is a longtime student of nonviolence and its practical application in everyday life.  Maggie completed a six-month Nonviolent Communication Intensive through the New York Center for Nonviolent Communication, and she has taught related classes at DGCEC since 2019. She is compelled by her deep dive into the impact of nonviolent communication and is excited to share this language of love and compassion with others.
