Beliefs are a way to make sense of the world.  We adopt them to serve us, to support us.  But what happens when these ideas no longer serve us, and keep us from fully living into who we want to be, how we want to show up?  Join us in exploring beliefs and using compassionate communication to transform those deeply held beliefs that limit our capacity to fully engage life.

This Nonviolence Tools Workshop is a FREE offering for those in need, but a $10 donation is appreciated to assist with future programming.  Register at or call 502-614-5616 to receive the Zoom link.

Our facilitator, Maggie Jezreel, is a longtime student of nonviolence and its practical application in everyday life.  Maggie completed a six-month Nonviolent Communication Intensive through the New York Center for Nonviolent Communication, and she has taught related classes at DGCEC since 2019. She is compelled by her deep dive into the impact of nonviolent communication and is excited to share this language of love and compassion with others.

“Transforming Limiting Beliefs” Nonviolence Tools Workshop is an offering of DGCEC’s 12 DAYS TOWARD PEACE 2021. Explore the other events and opportunities to expand your experience and practice of nonviolence by visiting or  DGCEC’s 7th annual 12 Days effort launches on Tuesday, September 21 on International Day of Peace and continues through International Day of Nonviolence on Saturday, October 2.

We may feel small, but our efforts can transform both our own hearts and those around us.  Together we are growing nonviolence in our city!
