In-Person at DGCEC

Join Jenny for this transformational session on Mindfulness as the Antidote to Anxiety, a comprehensive guide on how to work with your experience to neutralize stress and anxiety.

Learn core strategies and practical skills to break the panic/anxiety loop using proven and effective Mindfulness exercises that lead to greater emotional awareness by detaching from overthinking, practicing non-judgment, letting go of the pursuit of

perfection and guiding the mind back to the heart space. Embracing Mindfulness as an Antidote to Anxiety reconnects us to the present moment, promotes our ‘rest and digest’ system, reducing our stress response. Mindfulness helps to retrain the brain, regulate our emotional response to stressors and shifts our self perception.

Come learn practical ways to diminish the inner experience of anxiety, work with it when it arises and ultimately transform it. This class is framed with trauma sensitive mindfulness practices and mindful self compassion.

Open to all experience levels.

Cost on a sliding scale – please pay what you are able:  $33, $44 or $55. Register HERE or call 502-614-5616. Some partial scholarships available: DrepungGomangCompassion@gmail.com.
