Online, Hosted by DGCEC, Eastern Time
Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14, 2024
His Holiness the Dalai Lama has stated, "My true religion is kindness." Although frequently denigrated in our culture as simplistic and weak, the quality of kindness has an inherent power to transform our worldview from one of fear and isolation to one rooted in clarity, courage and compassion in action.
Kindness is the fuel that helps us truly “walk our talk” of love. Many of us yearn for something we can turn to regardless of what life throws at us, a guiding force to pull all the disparate pieces of our lives together into a whole that enables us to be strong.
Through talks, guided meditations and question and answer sessions, Sharon Salzberg helps us reclaim kindness as the superpower it truly is.
Suitable for both beginning and more experienced meditators. We will practice meditation together, have discussions, Q and A sessions and talks.
