Ven. Othok Rinpoche, Executive Director of the newly formed Drepung Gomang Buddhist Center of Connecticut will give a teaching on the Guru Yoga Meditation Practice of Lama Tsongkhapa based

on the reading-transmission of the short text, “One Hundred Deities of Tushita”, and the oral transmission of short mantras of the three lineage protectors – Avalokiteshvara (Compassion Buddha), Manjushri (Wisdom Buddha), and Vajrapani (Activity Buddha).

Venerable Othok Rinpoche Tenzin Dhamchoe escaped from Tibet in 1986 and in 1987 was recognized as the reincarnation of Othok Punstang Lobsang Dhamchoe Rinpoche by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He joined Drepung Gomang Monastery where he completed his studies and was honored with the title of Geshe Lharampa in 2008. He has traveled and taught extensively in Italy and other countries in Europe. He is renowned for his teaching and has a large number of students. Rinpoche came to the US in December 2024 to serve as the Executive Director of the newly established Drepung Gomang Buddhist Center of Connecticut.
