DGCEC's Interfaith Peacemaking Initiative Invites You to
2025 Interfaith Memorial Day Service
10:00 am, Monday, May 26, In-Person at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 330 N. Hubbards Lane, Louisville, 40207
Honoring all who have died in wars involving the U.S., including non-combatants & civilians along with members of the military.
The Service will include candle lighting for the fallen, as well as music, interfaith prayers, readings, and reflections. Those attending will also have an opportunity to make a pledge of nonviolence.
Presenters will include representatives of: Baha’is of Louisville, Drepung Gomang Center for Engaging Compassion, the Jewish Community of Louisville, Louisville’s Arms of Compassion, Mount St. Francis Center for Spirituality, Muslim Americans for Compassion, St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, and Unity of Louisville, and others
