DGCEC is delighted and humbled to honor His Holiness the Dalai Lama by offering this Compassion Cultivation Intensive – based on the internationally renowned 8-week Compassion Cultivation Training – to interested community members. Through this intensive, learn how to: expand your empathy and concern for others, increase your self-compassion, develop your strength to be with life’s inevitable suffering, take compassionate action, and build resilience to prevent empathy fatigue.  We will examine the scientific basis for mind-training and how to develop skills for relating to ourselves and others by intentionally choosing compassionate thoughts and actions.

CCT was developed by Dr. Thupten Jinpa, the principal English translator for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, at Stanford University with a team of contemplative scholars, clinical psychologists, and researchers. Over 300 Louisville students, and thousands of CCT participants from around the world attest to its transformative qualities. Compassion Cultivation Intensive will give you a flavor of the full CCT process. The next CCT Cohort offered by DGCEC will be 8 Tuesday, August 5 - September 23, 6 - 8pm via Zoom.

Compassion Cultivation Intensive is offered by DGCEC to honor His Holiness the Dalai Lama and in gratitude for his unwavering message and life filled with compassion. Your fee of $40, $65, $80 or $160 Sponsor-rate will help DGCEC continue to share universal human values as inspired by His Holiness. (Please pay what you are able; scholarships available) Register at DrepungGomangUSA.org or 502-614-5616.
