During challenging times, mindfulness can help you manage stress, find inner stability, gain a sense of control over your reactions, and build a foundation for a more skillful response to uncertainty.
Join Jenny for this empowering one time session on the power of mindfulness for these turbulent times.
How do we embrace the unknown? How do we respond to uncertainty? How do we live with ease and create harmony in a world of chaos? Through practices that cultivate awareness, calm, groundedness and resilience we train in focusing on the present moment using techniques like deep breathing, body scans and gentle observation. Through practices of equanimity and impermanence we are able to meet the moment with skillfulness, openness and curiosity. This experiential session will also explore the 3 tenets of the Zen Peacemakers as a guide for responding to the unknown. This session will offer mindful ways to increase clarity and focus, foster emotional regulation and reduce anxiety.
Embrace the unknown with a sense of resilience! All practice levels are welcome. Please bring any note taking materials.
Sliding scale: $25, $35 or $45. Register Here or call 502-614-5616.
