7 Sundays, May 3 to July 21, 2026, 1:00 – 3:00pm Eastern Time, In-Person and via Zoom (There is no session on May 31, Saka Dawa Day)

Explore the mind, guided by the great Nalanda Buddhist Tradition. This special Dharma offering is in response to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s vision and effort to share this ancient tradition in accessible language. During this seven week class Geshe Rapgyal will focus on Parts 4 and 5, mind and its objects and inferential reason. This class continues the survey of the nature of the mind, mental factors, and mind training as begun last year with other chapters of the volume.

The content of the class is based on Science and Philosophy in the Indian Buddhist Classics, Vol 2: The Mind, Parts 4 and 5. This series was conceived and introduced by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, edited by Thupten Jinpa, from Wisdom Publications, 2020. This text is required for participation and can be purchased for a discount through DGCEC’s Tibetan Marketplace.

Geshe Lharampa Kalsang Rapgyal has served as the Spiritual Teacher and Executive Director of DGCEC since 2010. He holds the highest degree in Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and offers regular Buddhist teachings for our community.
