Held at Saints Hall of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 330 N. Hubbards Lane, Louisville, KY 40207

SEE (Social, Emotional, and Ethical) Learning is a comprehensive framework and curriculum grounded in compassion science which is designed to foster social, emotional, and ethical learning in preschool through high school classrooms around the world. SEE Learning was inspired and endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and it is now used in over 1000 schools in India and in more than 60 countries.

In this hands-on training, teachers will be introduced to the framework and pedagogical model of the SEE Learning curriculum, and explore how social-emotional learning skills and practices can fit into daily routines and classroom management.

This training will align the student skills taught in SEE Learning with adult SEL skills that can help create meaningful support and lasting change for teachers’ personal well-being.

Workshop Audience: Preschool through 12th Grade Educators, Administrators, and interested adults.

This opportunity is made possible through the Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics at Emory University, and through Drepung Gomang Center for Engaging Compassion in Louisville.

Registration is required on a sliding scale: $20, $40, $60 or Full Scholarship. Lunch provided. Continuing Ed credits may be available.
