The Photography of Cozad Taylor with Wry Comments by Don Vish
2:00 – 4:00pm, Sunday, August 30, DGCEC
“Paparazzi on Wry” comprises 365 photos from the archives of Cozad Taylor accompanied by wry comments taken from the book “Prideful Violets,” (c) 2001 by the late (great) Donald H. Vish (used with permission).
Cozad says, “I’ve come to think of everyone and everything as a celebrity … and myself as a ‘paparazzo’ of the earth. Donald Vish’s wry comments shine a floodlight on the crazy, amazing world in which we live.”
The photos are mounted on cards which are accompanied by envelopes. The mounted photos are $10 each. A few 9” x 12” photos printed on aluminum will also be for sale at $25 each. Proceeds will be shared equally between the artist and DGCEC.
During the exhibit, selected quotes from Don Vish will be streamed in a PowerPoint Presentation.
Scrumptious refreshments will be served including Cozad’s secret-recipe punch. For more details contact Terry Cozad Taylor at cozad251@gmail.com. Register for a reminder at DrepungGomangUSA.org.
