Tibetan Dinner and Presentation
DGCEC is honored to bring a rare offering by Ani Choyang, a dedicated Tibetan Buddhist nun, teacher, and burgeoning research scientist originally from Tibet. She is based at Jangchub Choeling Nunnery in southern India — an institution established by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Jangchub Choeling Nunnery currently serves a community of 340 nuns and is evolving into an International Women’s Center — a hub where nuns and women from local and global communities learn, retreat, and grow together.
Learn more about how you can support Jangchub Choeling Library and Learning Center, which is a project committed to becoming an educational institution dedicated to empowering women. Encouraging young nuns to study subjects like science, English, and mathematics enables them to share their insights and teachings with a broader audience while contributing meaningfully to the modern world.
Register for this Fundraiser Event for the Library Project: $40, $60, $80. We are Hoping to Generate Deep Financial Support through this evening’s event.
The Project Goal of the Hidden Happiness Tour in the United States is $235,000. If this goal is reached by December, a $235,000 matching grant will be donated to the project. Friends of Jangchub Choeling Nunnery’s Louisville goal is $25,000.
